How do I get my Microsoft Zune to work on the Clarion VRX575USB? I have a Clarion VRX575USB In-dash DvD CD and DVD player. My tablet isn't working- it just stopped without any reason to why and won't register motion? So I wanted to plug in my tablet and draw on photoshop 7, as usual and then all of the sudden my tablet wouldn't respond. The light that gloves won't flash like it's in either and it's in my USB drive that is properly working (I checked.) And everything is plugged in. The type of tablet is a Wacom Intuos 3. Anyone know why? It's still installed and all.

Can a usb powered external hard drive freeze in my glove compartment? The deck in my car supports a usb powered external hard drive up to 250GB... I live in Canada, it's winter time right now, therefore temperatures can drop well below -0 Celsius... any chance that would damage (either because of humidity or the constant heating up/ cooling down) the hard drive? I'm currently using a 16GB Sony USB stick and I haven't had problems with it, so I might just use that for winter and the 250GB drive for summer, but I was just wondering. Thank you!

Problem accessing external enclosure (USB) laptop hard drive.? I bought a SilverStone external enclosure for laptop SATA hard drive, which has an option to plug in using USB. I have lost the instruction manual and cannot find the manual online anywhere. So, I did what I thought was common sense. I put in the hard drive into the enclosure (yes, it fits like a glove). Then I plug in the USB cable (it has two ends. I'm guessing one is for power and one is for data). I have 3 USB inputs on my computer and have tried various combination on the slots, but it will not access. No icon appears at the bottom. No message comes up when I plug it in. I don't see it listed as a hard drive in My Computer. I can hear the external hard drive spinning, so it has power (plus the blue light on the external hard drive is on). I have 2 different loose SATA hard drives and neither of them work. One is unformatted, and the other is formatted NTFS. Do I need drivers? What am I doing wrong? I just want to access data on my laptop drive. So I found the instruction manual for this enclosure. It is a SilverStone MS05 (http://www.silverstonetek.com/downloads/Manual/EN-MS05-Manual.pdf). It tells me to do exactly as I explained above. (1) open the enclosure (2) insert the SATA drive until it locks (3) close the enclosure (4) plug in the USB connector to the back of the enclosure, and connect the double-split end USB cable to the laptop. It does not work. My USB ports work with my mouse and my keyboard, so the USB ports are okay. The enclosure lights up (and the manual says the two USB cable provides sufficient power) and the hard drive is audibly spinning. Yet, I cannot access it. What is the best iPod hookup to your car radio? Im getting an aftermarket radio and I want one that I can hookup my iPod too. I want the best sound possible. I heard AUX to headphone jack doesnt have great sound and a USB to the dock connector is better. Or should i just hook the iPod up to the back of the radio and run it through my glove box? Which one will make the best, clearest sound with good bass?

Whats the difference between an IPOD READY head-unit and and just a regular headunit with a USB slot? Hi, I would like to know the difference between a headunit that is IPOD READY(the ones with an ipod cable running from the back of the headunit to the glove compartment) and jus a regular H.U. with a USB slot on the front. Is there some kind of special capability that differentiates the two? The reason why I am askin is because I want to connect my Zune to my car stereo via USB but it will not work (because i believe that it needs the software to read the songs). Where does a USB iPod Cable plug into on my Pioneer Radio? I just bought the Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD player for my 2002 Nissan Altima. This is a double din DVD/Radio for my car. With the radio, I also bought the Pioneer CD-IU50V 0.5M USB iPod Cable so that my iPod will show up on the touchscreen. Where does this cable plug into, the front OR back of my actual radio?? Head unit installation - where should I go? I bought a head unit for my car, where should I go to get it installed. I don't want to do it myself because it has a usb cable in the back that needs to be fed through somewhere (like the glove box). Any recommendations? I called best buy and they said around $100!

BMW 535i- No AUX inputs? I have a 2009 BMW 535i with several options added. From my understanding an AUX is standard. There does not seem to be any AUX port in the car. As far as I knew from the manual is that the AUX should be on the back of the centre console or the USB in the glove compartment. I can find neither in the car. When I got the car the cables came with it in the glove box but there are no inputs.

My iMac is electrocuting me!!!!!!!!!? I had my ipod plugged in to my computer charging today, and i went to pick it up, i was electrocuted. I thought it was maybe just something sharp on my ipod, so i grabbed it at a different angle, and i got electrocuted again. I put on rubber gloves and i disconnected my ipod, because i thought my ipod was defective. Then, just a few seconds ago, i touched the metal on my keyboard and was electrocuted again! it seems like there is a problem with the USB ports. Should i take it in?

Question about legally playing roms? Ok so I went to coolrom.com and the legal agreement says that the roms are for backup purposes only and that to use the roms you must already own the game, example, to download and play super mario rpg rom with an snes emulator you must already own snes cartridge my question is how the hell are they supposed to know whether you own the game or not, is the fbi going to come to your bedroom and look through your game collection with latex gloves on LOL now even if i own the games i would still actually rather play the roms because you get sore thumbs always using the d pad with older games and i have found that with roms you can always use analog sticks which is far better, more comfortable and better control in the game, i have a usb pc controller that is designed exactly like a ps2 controller that i used to play super mario rpg, and analog sticks on old games is infinitely better then an snes d pad is and earthbound cartridge only costs over $100 dollars!!!!! so should i buy all my favorite snes cartridges on ebay, just so i can legally play the rom versions with analog sticks instead of d pad?

car aftermarket bass problem? okay, i have a 06 rsx (non bose) and i have a kicker amp wired to my duel 12 inch sony xplode ported subwoofers. wired to a alpine a105, ipod is in the glove wired to a usb port in the back of the head unit. sometimes my bass will literally just stop hitting in the middle of a song, it can last for a half of a second or up to thirty seconds, i have checked and all wires are connected properly (all visible ones at least) . what could be wrong? the bass couldnt be bottoming out because it hits the same notes if i play the song again... its just in random spots. yesterday i took the head unit out and reconnected all the wires and it worked for aawhile but it happened again... what could be wrong? please help thanks.. ill take anyones two cents

vw sound system not displaying mp3 track titles? I have a VW (Passat) with vw sound and a built in GPS system. I have added the VW USB adapter (it fits in the glove box) and treats your USB stick as a cd changer, but none of the titles of the songs are appearing. All I get is Track 1, Track 2. All the other mp3 players I have tried show the titles - what can I do to resolve this issue? (the garage hasn't got a clue - they even thought the car had an mp3 player in it before I had to add this one)

99' Honda Accord and Alpine Stereo? Mine has a usb cable which runs from the back of my stereo and it comes out of my glove compartment. My Ipod does not charge neither does it get recognized properly.? My ipod is the fourth generation click wheel. Seldom times when I hook it up to the computer, it is recognized as a mass storage device. Itunes pops up, but there isn't any reading under "Devices". Itunes also gives me the option to restore it. One time I ejected the ipod from the computer under "usb mass storage device", but then it didn't work anymore when I plugged it in again. It does not get recognized by Itunes, neither the computer, and it doesn't charge. I plugged it in today, and I got the apple screen 3 times, then it just went blank. P.S. I don't have the original ipod accessories neither the software... I just have the ipod and a "Mobile Glove" charger. I RESTARTED it like a dozen times lol... and I already tried to restore it when the window pops up... but it didn't work. as of this moment it's charging, but its a "do not disconnect" screen. I need to be able to place songs on it and stuff.
