Best option for USB Hub for a new Macbook?

How much should I expect to pay? Would any USB 2.0 Hub work? Does it have to be self-powered to be good? If you know a good one for a good deal, let me know. Thanks.

1. any of them work, it just matters what you need. don't pay more than $50 for a 4 port. if you don't plan on moving it around all that much, a hub with an external power source will be the most efficient and fastest if you want to take it on the go, a USB powered one is best for you, it'll be a little slower, but you won't need an outlet.
