How to connect 3 USB devices to 2 USB ports without a USB Hub?
Is it possible to connect 3 USB devices (Keyboard + 2 printers) to 2 USB ports on the PC without using a USB Hub. If you know if this is possible could you advise where this sort of cable can be baught.

- You can do it with a multiplier dongle; but the power is split with each dongle; so the units may not work correctly. Better off getting a USB hub....
- No, but you could get an adapter to allow the keyboard to fit in the unique keyboard plug that comes on every PC. Ask a computer shop, most people don't use the free ones that come with their units. They're light green or purple (one is the mouse, I forget which) and round with a weird pin config. Maybe one came with your very own PC or keyboard?
- there is a device costing around Rs 100.it makes one usb port into 4.
- There is no way to plug three devices into two ports without using a hub to increase the number of ports. Any cable that you buy that "splits" the port into two is going to be a hub. You may want to check the keyboard. Some USB keyboards will have one or more USB ports build in them (which is really a hub) that you might be able to plug your printer into. You can also look on the printers. Sometimes they will have a USB port build into them for daisy chaining devices (again, it will be a hub).
