I have an mp3 with loads of music on. In the glove box of my new car is a usb. The mp3 plugs in no music?
MP3 works but will not play thro the usb in the car??

- make sure your radio is on the right setting to play your mp3s
- Surely the USB connection on the MP3 player is for input. The output is through the socket that the speakers fit.
- Make sure you select the correct sorce on your head unit. normally " AUX "
- The USB socket is for a memory device ie a USB stick with mp3 files on it. Mp3 players connect thru USB but generally need some special driver software on the PC to see them. A car stereo doesn't have this.
