What kind of usb adapter do i need to transfer music files to verizon razr phone?

I've got a RAZR V3m phone, and the instructions offer very little in the way of telling you how to transfer files from the computer to the phone. (probably because they want you to pay for their download service) A weird little usb cable came with it, but the end of it is NOT compatible to a standard USB cable, so I'm stuck. Where can I get a compatible USB adapter without paying for the overpriced "music essentials" kit from verizon??

1. Should be able to get the correct cable at 90% of stores that sell computer stuff(Someone said its the same cable as the PSP USB cable). A program like bitpim is needed(www.bitpim.org). Actually with the V3M you should be able to put mp3's on the memory card and put the card in the phone
