would i be able to connect a wireless usb adapter with the speed 300mbps to a livebox?

i was going to use the wireless usb adapter with my xbox 360 and was wondering if it will increase my connectivity online and reduce the amount of lag and disconnecting? but im not sure if it would be faster then the official xbox 360 wireless adapter at 54mbps?

1. Sorry the fastest speed depends on your connection from your ISP. For instance, if you are paying for a dsl connection at 1.5M that is the top speed you are going to get going to your line. Where you see the increase in speed is on your side of the router/modem. That is, since you are using a 54mbps connection anything connected on your side will go upto that speed. What you might try to do is have your ISP check your line for problems that could be why you are having some lag issues.
